Is your little one ready for fun this summer? Living Wisdom Day Camp offers yoga, story time, music, arts and crafts, light cooking, and outdoor activities such as walks and water play.

This program is facilitated by Sylvia Lopez, who is a certified and gifted Living Wisdom School teacher.

- $50 deposit is requested
- 1 week: $150
- 2 weeks: $275

- 9 am – 12:30 pm Monday – Friday

An opportunity for the whole family to joyfully relax, learn and play together with other families who have similar values. Parents will learn the art of nourishing their own and their children’s innate spirituality; children will learn about living in harmony and attunement with others and nature through yoga, games, art, theatre, stories, music and other activities. Led by Living Wisdom School Directors and teachers.
Dates:
- Sunday, July 27 at 3 pm - Saturday, August 2, after lunch
Accommodations:
- Simple tents with cots. Please bring your own pillows, sleeping bags and towels. Cabins and bungalows are available at additional cost.
Cost:
- $350 / adult, $300 / child. Includes all meals, activities, classes and tent. Child fee is waived for children 3 and under, who must be accompanied at all times by a parent. $50 per person deposit is required to reserve your place.

| Driving Directions to Ananda Village |
…from Sacramento: 90 minutes
- Take I-80 (E) towards Reno – go about 25 miles
- At Auburn, turn left on CA-49 (N) toward Grass Valley / Nevada City – go 38 miles. Just past Nevada City, turn left at the "49 to Downieville" sign.
- Turn right on Tyler-Foote Road (immediately after the sign for Malakoff Diggins State Park) – go about 5 miles
- Turn left on Ananda Way. You are now at Ananda Village.
- To get to Hansa Mandir, continue on Ananda Way until you get to a T, approximately 1/4 mile. Turn left at the T. In approximately 1/4 mile more you will turn right, just past 2 small ponds, onto Ayodhya Way. Once turning onto Ayodhya you will immediately turn left onto Rajarsi Park Drive and head up the small hill. Park at the top of the hill. Hansa Mandir is the first building on the right.
…from Reno: 2 hours
- Take I-80 (W) towards Sacramento – go 55 miles
- Take CA-20 (W) – go 27 miles
- Turn right on CA-49 (N) towards Downieville – go 10.5 miles
- Turn right on Tyler-Foote Road (immediately after the sign for Malakoff Diggins State Park) – go about 5 miles
- Turn left on Ananda Way and proceed according to the directions above.

| Meals |
Meals can be purchased at the Expanding Light Retreat and Master's Market, located in the "downtown" area of Ananda Village, next to the Reception Center.
Meals at the Expanding Light Retreat:
Please call (530) 478-7518 x 1 at least 2 hours prior to meal time to reserve lunch or dinner. All food is vegetarian, and served family style.
- Lunch is at 12:30, dinner at 6:30 daily (times may vary during large events; please check)
- Cost: $10 adults, $8 for children 10 and under; FREE for children 4 and under
- The Indian Banquet during Spiritual Renewal week is $15 for adults, half price for children aged 8 and younger.
Meals at Master's Market:
Delicious all-vegetarian hot lunch and deli sandwiches, salads, and snacks.
- Open Hours: Mon. – Thurs. 8 am – 6 pm; Fri. 8 am – 7:30 pm; Sat. 10 am – 5 pm; Sun. 12:30 – 2 pm.
- Hot lunch served Mon. – Fri. at 12:30; no need for reservations
- Gourmet thin-crust vegetarian pizza is served every Friday 5 – 7 pm. To order a pie, call 530-478-7551, or purchase by the slice.

| Childcare |
Childcare will be provided on a donation basis for most of the morning classes and evening activities during the larger summer events: Swami Kriyananda's Birthday Celebration, Spiritual Renewal Week, and others.

| What to Bring |
Summer at Ananda Village can be cooler in the morning and evening, and hot during the day. For your comfort, we recommend the following:
- A light shawl or sweater for morning & evening events
- Water bottle (Bottled water can also be purchased at Master’s Market & the Expanding Light Boutique)
- A small cushion or pillow for Amphitheater classes and events (chairs are provided; pillows make seating more comfortable.)
- Sun hat and sun screen
- Insect repellent
- Comfortable shoes for trail walking
- Extra money for meals, snacks, boutique shopping, and childcare
Please do not bring:
- Dogs or other pets
- Cigarettes, alcohol or recreational drugs
- Boom boxes or musical instruments
